Richard P. Zajac is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. He practices civil litigation in the fields of insurance defense and insurance coverage, specializing in first party property disputes.
Mr. Zajac received his undergraduate degree with High Honors from Lehigh University in 2004. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Earth and Environmental Science. While attending Lehigh, he was able to serve as legal intern at the United States Department of Justice – Environment and Natural Resources Division in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Zajac graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2007 with a Certificate in Sports Law. During law school, he spent time as both the President and Secretary of the Environmental Law Community Action Team. He also served as the Treasurer of the Sports Law Society.
While attending Florida Coastal, Mr. Zajac spent time as an intake volunteer at Jacksonville Area Legal Aid. He also served as a Compliance Intern with the Jacksonville University Athletic Department where he worked on several complex issues involving eligibility and compliance with NCAA regulations. Additionally, Mr. Zajac worked with the Public Trust Environmental Institute of Florida and a sole practitioner where he gained valuable experience in the legal field.
Mr. Zajac is admitted to practice in all state courts of Florida.
