Leandro E. Lissa
is a litigation associate in the firm's Miami office and practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, property rights and landlord/tenant disputes, government liability, construction defects, and insurance defense litigation including personal injury protection litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and automobile negligence litigation.

Mr. Lissa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Sigma National Criminal Justice Honor Society, the Golden Key National Honor Society, and was selected to the National Dean's List.

Mr. Lissa earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University, where he was a member of the school's distinguished Journal of Land Use and Environmental Law, which is nationally recognized as one of the premier Land Use and Environmental Journals in the United States. He was also a member of the Spanish-American Law Student Association, the American Bar Association and the Student Bar Association.

While in Law School, Mr. Lissa was a certified legal intern for Legal Services of Greater Miami, Housing Division. Following his internship, Mr. Lissa was the recipient of a fellowship award which is provided annually by Legal Services to the year's outstanding legal intern.

Mr. Lissa is admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He currently holds memberships with the Florida Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He is fluent in Spanish.
