Marcy E. Abitz is a litigation associate in the firm’s Miami office. Ms. Abitz practices in the areas of insurance defense, labor and employment law, government liability, and civil rights litigation.

Ms. Abitz graduated from the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1999. Subsequently, Ms. Abitz graduated from the University of Miami with a Juris Doctor in 2002.

During her practice, Ms. Abitz has been involved in complex litigation and administrative proceedings in the areas of insurance defense, civil rights, education, labor and employment, and governmental immunity. She has provided training and lectures to various corporate, public and private entities in the areas of Title VII,  ADA and Sexual Harassment issues.

She is admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and the District of Columbia.
