
Dannelle Fleites is a litigation associate in the firm’s Miami office, specializing in complex commercial litigation, insurance defense litigation, and workers’ compensation defense.
Ms. Fleites earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami in 2002. She graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Legal Studies and a Minor in English. She was also a member of the Honors Program and Student Government.
Ms. Fleites earned her Juris Doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. While in law school, she was Senior Editor of the school’s Business Law Brief, vice president of the Business Law Society, and a judge for the District of Columbia’s Public School Mock Trial Program. She also participated in the law school’s Federal Tax Clinic, representing low-income individuals and businesses before the Internal Revenue Service.
As part of her practice, Ms. Fleites handles the defense and trial of personal injury actions, insurance coverage disputes, automobile negligence claims, government liability claims, mortgage fraud suits, construction defect matters, and workers’ compensation and employment related claims. Her client base ranges from state agencies and municipalities to insurance companies and Fortune 500 companies.
Ms. Fleites is admitted to practice in the State of Florida. She is fluent in Spanish.
